Individual Therapy

Individual Counseling

In my individual counseling practice, I offer a collaborative and personalized approach to help you navigate life's challenges and rediscover balance and fulfillment. I would describe myself as an eclectic clinician, meaning I draw from a variety of therapeutic principles and techniques rather than relying on a single model. This allows me to tailor our sessions to your specific goals, preferences, and needs.

My approach to therapy is grounded in two core beliefs. First, I rely on approaches that are supported by research and have demonstrated real results in helping people create change. Second, I view therapy as a learning process, one where you gain the understanding, skills, and confidence to navigate challenges independently, long after our sessions end.

My Approach

A primary framework I use is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is a practical, goal-oriented approach that helps you identify and change unhelpful patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It operates on the understanding that our thoughts influence how we feel and act. By increasing awareness of these patterns and learning strategies to shift them, you can reduce distress, improve emotional regulation, and make meaningful, lasting changes in your life.

CBT is collaborative and skill-based, meaning that much of our work will focus on applying what you learn in therapy to your day-to-day life.

Who I Work With

The people I work with tend to be high-achievers—thoughtful, capable, and driven. On the outside, everything looks together, but underneath there's often anxiety, self-doubt, or a sense of being stretched too thin. Some are navigating imposter syndrome, perfectionism, or relationship stress. Others are learning to better manage ADHD or executive functioning challenges, strengthen social skills, or make sense of life after a major loss or transition.

Objective

My goal in working with you is not to pathologize or label you with a diagnosis, but rather to understand you as a whole person and tailor our work to meet your unique needs and circumstances. Together, we will work to quiet self-doubt, strengthen resilience, and help you reconnect with your values and goals. My aim is for you to leave therapy with greater clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of agency in your life.
